SBC... the Legend Continues

A brand new month and still no internet. Well, legal internet. NETGEAR still works from time to time, though when it was crazy windy, NETGEAR did not feel like sharing. Maybe the wireless waves got blown away in the transfer.

But SBC is still lagging on the internet. The crazy thing is that I see those white SBC vans everywhere now. They're parked everywhere around 667 Kodiak Ct.. Our internet has been lagging for a month and a half now and all SBC can say is "Sorry, we're having technical difficulties." No details as to what those technical difficulties may be. "Technical difficulties" is one of those blanket terms that are used when you have no idea what's wrong. A wire somewhere may be frayed. Technical difficulties. A DSL line is not installed into the building. Technical difficulties. The guy in charge of flipping the switch so that your phone line also gets DSL may be sleeping on the job. Technical difficulties. Or we're sick and tired of having you call us so we're going to smite you by withholding your internet. Technical difficulties.

Sigh. I thought about being like David Carradine and walking around the neighborhood looking for SBC vans saying non-sensical proverbs with no affect while beating people up... but then I realized that I don't know kung fu and I'm not white. Sigh.
